I am excited and hope you will be excited also. If you like the few poems on the site, here is your opportunity to read the whole collection. Although most of them are love poems, a few are about some of my other favorite subjects. I believe they can add other dimensions for your entertainment. BEING
An eternity passed, by damn
Before I learned to say
I am
And when I found
What I wanted to be
There went another eternity
By the time these words
To action turned
Another lifetime needed, I yearned
And though these actions have
Become true
Another being starts anew
Over and over again
I start once more
Going ahead to where I must
Have been before.
Will it ever end?
I ask and know
That being is continuous
And where I am
I have been and will go

"Being" engages me on several levels at once. I can imagine the continuous rebirth of our physical being on the cellular level, the moment to moment unfolding of the ego mind constantly renewing the "self" , and the struggle of cyclic existence in samsara. Really brilliant from my perspective!
